I have a very soft spot in my heart for this gen Trooper. I keep an alert on in case one happens to show up anywhere that hasnt flipped over or rusted into the ground. This one has done neither, but seriously, what the fuck is it anymore? 4 grand to the person with the greatest stores of eyebleach.

My first vehicle was a '91 XS 2.8. This is blasphemy. Looks like they're trying to create a poor man's G Wagen.

agreed. Horrible. What happened to yours, rust away or toss a rod?

You'll take my lift, on an Isuzu
I've swapped the bumpers and the engine too
Then while you wonder if I'm smoking crack,
Add stupid wheels, make the headlights black
Ah ahhhhhh ah ahhhhh ah ahhhhh

Bought a '94 S10 Blazer when I was a senior in high school so my parents took it back (they bought it barely used in '92 originally). They drove it for a few more years till it died.
I don't really even know what killed it. It cracked a head in '95 or '96, but that was replaced long before I started driving it in 2000. The transmission was failing pretty bad towards the end, slipped a lot and would get stuck in 3rd. I think it just stopped turning over eventually and they just gave up and junked it.
Surprisingly it only had some slight rust on the rocker panels and fenders (after 15 Iowa winters no less!).
I loved that thing. Having to stop to shift into 4wd, then stop and back up to shift out. The weird 70-30 rear doors. I can still smell the interior.
Wow, you really have me reminiscing now...

cool man! One of my best friends had a manual and that thing was unstoppable. Hard to find one in one piece these days!

This thing has been floating around the SJ craigslist for literally years now. It's always piqued my interest just because of how ridiculous it is.
